The children's film Applaus für Felix, directed by Matthias Eder, explains the German house of parliament (Bundestag) from the perspective of a child.
The film was commissioned by the Deutscher Bundestag and produced by Bastei Media. Within 30 minutes, it demonstrates how democracy and politics work in Germany, utilizing a real-footage main narrative as well as 3D animated educational videos.
For the animated sequences I modeled and rigged various props. In addition, I was responsible for the full production of some minor background scenes:
